We're looking for...
Houston area professional-level singers (all voice types) and comedic actors. No age limit. Artists from outside the Houston area are welcome to audition, but should be aware that Lone Star Lyric Theater Festival cannot provide housing or transportation.

Audition requirements...
Singers - Bring two contrasting songs or arias: your best piece (any language), and a piece in English. We are especially interested in music from 1935-1945. An accompanist will be provided.
Actors - Bring two contrasting monologues, one a comedy.
Everyone - Bring your current 8x10 head shot and résumé.

Please include your name, voice type if applicable, mailing address, phone number, résumé or list of roles performed (PDF or JPEG) and head shot if available (PDF or JPEG). You will be notified of your audition time by return e-mail. Only e-mail requests will be considered. No phone calls, please.

Rehearsals & performances...
Rehearsals take place weekday evenings and weekend daytimes.
Sneak Preview rehearsal date: TBA.
Sneak Preview performance date: TBA.
Festival rehearsal dates: June 12-23.
Festival performance dates: June 24-27.

Season stipend...
All performers will be paid a season stipend which constitutes payment for all rehearsals, promotional activities, costume fittings, make-up, the Sneak Preview/fund-raiser concert performance in March and the four Festival performances in June.
